Employee reviews on Glassdoor that discuss the outbreak have reported a variety of workplace challenges - from disruption of business operations to cancelled interviews to lack of work-from-home arrangements.

Some reviews have cited serious economic consequences such as diminished business outlook or pay cuts. Conversely, some employees praised their employers for swift, transparent communication and meaningful actions, including flexible work-from-home options.

Employee Confidence in Affected Countries Shows Business May be Getting Worse

Business outlook ratings are trending down for companies based in affected countries, including China, Singapore, Japan and South Korea.
