Midlands - with travel
£45k - £55k plus car allowance

Head of Learning and Development required to set up and launch an inhouse academy function for a leading engineering business based from the Midlands with UK coverage.
This is a unique opportunity to design, create and implement a Learning and development offering alongside an internal academy designed to train apprentices and employees at all levels throughout the business.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Engaging training providers
- Designing the offering
- Launching the academy and training platform internally and externally
- Develop the leaning portal
- Manage the academy and the group interaction
- Liaise with colleagues and develop a talent pipeline
You will possess the following skills
- Self-motivated and able to work to a strategic brief
- Great communication skills and able to gain buy in across a group of companies
- Create an engaged environment where employees can access relevant development skills and training
- Creative and able to create a vision and deliver against it
- Brilliant relationship building skills - able to work as a Brand Ambassador for the business
- Passionate and Drive. Able to take a concept, design it and make it a reality
