Studio Operations Manager
Salary £50,000 - £55,000+

I have a great opportunity with a premium fitness studio looking for a Studio/ Property Operations Manager to drive the studios operations and guest experience. You are in the studios every day; and you are ensuring the team are upholding the highest standards and you are managing both your team and third-party vendors to deliver that. You set and maintain the premium standards on studio equipment, cleaning, and maintenance.
Role
- Drive the studios operational principles as laid out in the operations manual, support in creating any additional content like updating studio handbooks, and walkthrough videos, so that as a business we know how and why we operate the way we do, and we are clear on our standards of excellence.
- Responsible for working within the budget ensuring all studios, and all equipment, are safe, legally compliant and that all certification is kept up to date.
- You manage the preventative maintenance calendar, with supporting checklists for team + third-party vendors, so everyone on your team is clear what needs to be done, by when and we have the budget allocated to deliver.
- You work to automate, streamline, and standardise all studio operations (where possible), so we can operate at economies of scale with all supplies and have an ease of operations.
- You help support landlord and building manager relationships, as well as managing studio insurance (building, contents, and public liability insurance).
- Responsible for all studio inventory and distribution of stock.
- Lead your team, ensuring they are clear at what is required of them and supporting them in priority setting and daily workflow management to ensure they are maximising their time/skills/output.
- Respond and react to in the moment studio emergencies, looping in all key stakeholders.
- Responsible for ensuring that all Ops systems are kept up to date.
Skills
- You are a tenured Property/Facilities or Studio Manager, with significant experience in equivalent roles ideally in luxury hospitality or the leisure space.
- You have a service-orientated mindset and an exceptional eye for detail, you know what greatness looks and feels like — always leading from the front.
- You are a clear and straight communicator (both oral and written) with the ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of having managed a thriving team and third-party suppliers.
- Demonstrate quick, strategic, and creative thinking.
- proactive, autonomous mindset, curious to be continuously identifying new opportunities.
