This electrical vacancy is working on a well known, MOJ contract, and service stations across the Northeast of England and Yorkshire. You'll be expected to cover within a 1-hour radius of your home address, but may on occasion travel further afield.
You'll be joining part of a larger team of multiskilled engineers working in tandem across the contract. This includes electricians, gas engineers and plumbers.
For this role you can expect to help with all PPM checks, EICRs, and electrical repair across the contract working in Prisons, service stations, and offices.
You will also be the point of call for any reactive electrical works that need completing, including fault finding and remedial works.
You will need to be a qualified Electrician with minimum NVQ Level 3 to be considered for this role.
Van, and fuel card will be included, as well as 29 days annual leave (increasing to 34 in April) - inclusive of Bank Holidays.
The salary on offer is an extremely competitive £42,000, although to qualify for the top end you must hold your C&G 2391 or equivalent. There is also a callout allowance of circa £1000 - with a rota of 1-6. The callouts tend to be infrequent, but if you are called out expect a minimum of 3 hours pay for your first call.
