Role: Domestic Gas Engineer
Location: Inverness and surrounding
Salary: £44,000 + OT
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's biggest family run FM business on one of their brand new contract wins!!
The domestic gas engineer will be covering a multisite MOD contract, across the North of Scotland.
You would be joining part of a wider team, delivering gas service and maintenance with some small installations.
Job Responsibilities of the Domestic Gas Engineer:
- Carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts and carry out repairs
- Testing and commissioning of equipment
- Undertake gas servicing as well as heat recovery units & unvented cylinders
- Complete job sheets for every task, daily log sheets and weekly time sheets
- Liaise with all stakeholders as required to ensure a high quality service is delivered
- Provide technical support and advice
- Supervise and potentially train staff
- Attend tool box talks
- Comply with company health & safety at all times
- Undertake any other duties that may arise
Experience / Qualifications of the Domestic Gas Engineer:
- Experience as a suitably qualified domestic gas engineer working in commercial or domestic properties
- Domestic gas qualifications (essential)
- Previous experience with PDA devices
- Excellent communication skills
- To be able to work as part of a team and under own imitative
- Full clean driving license
