About United Drains: United Drains, a thriving drainage and plumbing company headquartered in Essex, is seeking a dynamic Facilities Sales Manager to foster our company's growth. We specialise in the commercial sector and cover areas within a 100-mile radius of London, with plans for further expansion.

The Role: As a Facilities Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable financial growth. Your responsibilities will include developing new client relationships, nurturing existing ones, and expanding our business footprint. Your leadership skills will be crucial in managing and growing a small, high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading a sales team of up to 4 Business Development Managers (BDMs). Conducting weekly meetings with BDMs and monthly reporting to the Director. Actively participating in Monthly Board meetings. Recruiting and interviewing new BDMs. Spearheading new business development, including cold calling and maintaining client relationships. Managing our CRM database and maintaining accurate records of all sales activities. Preparing new account documentation and client information packages. Attending sales meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and client entertainment events as required. Collaborating closely with the sales and operations teams.

Essential Requirements:

Proven track record in B2B sales, must have Facilities Management, Drainage and Plumbing background. Exceptional communication skills across all business levels. Experience with HubSpot (preferred). Self-motivated with excellent management skills. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written, oral, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online portals. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Outstanding references. Full driving license. Demonstrated success in a similar role. Business acumen, excellent organisational and team-working skills, with the ability to delegate and motivate.
