Housing for Women is a registered charity and independent housing association. We champion female empowerment by providing and promoting affordable homes for women and gender-specific support services. Since 1934, we have been working to build a more equal society for women, a world where everyone has a safe roof over their head regardless of circumstance, where violence against women is no longer tolerated.
We are now seeking a Facilities Officer to join our team on a full-time basis for a 12 month fixed term contract, working 35 hours per week.

The Role
As a Facilities Officer, you will deliver our Archive project whilst ensuring smooth processes at our Brixton Head Office and all satellite office sites.
Attending our head office for at least four days a week, you will provide a high standard of facilities support to colleagues across the organisation and offer backup support to the PA to the Chief Executive.
You will also manage incoming post and formal notices, ensuring deadlines are adhered to, and collaboratively co-ordinate work, events and communications across the team, acting as a committed, proactive member of our organisation.
About You
To be considered as a Facilities Officer, you will need:
- Experience of developing administration systems
- Experience of developing and maintaining databases
- An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Good interpersonal and communicative skills
- Strong planning and prioritising skills
- A good understanding of safe working environments and Health & Safety
- An A-Level standard of education (or equivalent)
