Kitchen Manager/Head Chef
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
Location: Boston, MA
Our client is a high volume chain, specializing in Asian cusine. They are seeking a talent Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to join their Boston location! If you are looking to be apart of a growing chain - this could be the role for you!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day kitchen operations
- Recruit, hire, train and manage kitchen staff
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that kitchen staff follows standards and regulations
- Manage all food and supplies purchasing and maintain targeted cost controls
Ideal Head Chef:
- 2-3 years in a similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety in the kitchen
