We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Premises Manager to join our Operations Department.  Reporting to the Director of Estates and Operations, the Premises Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, management and administration of the School’s services and facilities, whilst focusing on quality of service delivery and ensuring best practice. 

Managing a team of four staff, the role will require strong leadership and an ability to prioritise.  Recognised building maintenance and health and safety qualifications are required, together with a good working knowledge of maintenance issues relating to listed buildings and experience of managing budgets.

The successful incumbent will join a diverse and multifaceted Operations team, consisting of  Maintenance, Grounds  and Commercial departments, with contracted services provided for Catering and Soft Services.

The Freemen’s estate at Ashtead Park, has a broad breath of facilities with a range of buildings including Grade II* listed manor house, recital hall, theatre as well as 57 acres of beautiful grounds and sporting facilities. 

This is a full-time, year-round role with working hours of 37.5 hours per week.  The role requires flexibility to work some evenings and weekends for key school events and on-call/call out duties on a rota basis. 

Salary: £46,100 to £52,000 per annum dependent on experience
