We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company in facilities management, who is looking to expand their Electrical Testing & Inspection Team due to an increase in workload.
Role:
As a Test & Inspection Electrician, you will report to the Site Manager and work closely with the T&I Supervisor. You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the electrical testing and inspection contract. This includes plant maintenance, safety, quality control, and customer service targets on the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled electrical testing and inspections, including Emergency Lighting, ECIR, PAT, and Lightning Protection.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Manage and supervise specialist sub-contractors and ensure their work is aligned with safety and company standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with the site team to identify innovations that improve service quality or reduce costs.
- Provide hands-on support for planned maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns as needed.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- ECS Gold Card Electrician (Essential)
- C&G 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification (Essential)
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (Essential)
- Apprenticeship-trained with substantial experience in building services and manufacturing environments
