We are working with a renowned, sustainable-focused hospitality group, known for its commitment to quality and eco-friendly practices. As a Catering Sales and Events Coordinator you will be responsible for driving client satisfaction and repeat business through exceptional service, building new client relationships, and expertly managing event logistics, team training, and sales strategies to exceed revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Enhance service levels to boost client satisfaction and repeat business
  • Prospect new clients through various channels, including cold calling and networking
  • Serve as the primary contact for catering/event inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses
  • Oversee and coordinate catering/event sales and logistics across all locations
  • Plan events, handling details such as menu selection, staffing, and logistics
  • Develop and execute a catering marketing plan to attract and retain clients
  • Train and guide the team on catering/event sales and service standards
  • Supervise and attend preparation, delivery, and setup for catering/events

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in catering and event management or a similar role
  • Passion for food quality, presentation, and customer service
  • Strong sales acumen with a drive to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive client relationships
  • Proficiency with technology for tracking sales and generating leads
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to evolving client needs

Compensation & Benefits:


  • Salary: $65,000 - $70,000/year
  • Commission-based bonus structure
  • Health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision
  • $70/month phone stipend ($840/year)
