I am delighted to be working with this fast-growing Hospitality businesses to find them a dynamic Maintenance Manager. This well-established group are known for creating amazing, innovative flavour combos that pack a punch.
All about you
As the Maintenance Manager for the group, you will be a strong all-rounder who has previously held a role with a multi-site restaurant / food retail group, and you will be passionate about what you do.
You will really understand the nuances, demands and the nitty-gritty of managing sites that are very food-led. Up to speed on H&S and compliance as well as having the sense of urgency that comes with hospitality. Maintenance will feature heavily in your background, and you will be able to create PPM schedules that work!
Multi-site experience is what we need here along with a very good understanding of general Facilities Management too. Oh, and brownie points will be awarded if you have previously dealt with re-fit / refurb projects too.
The Best Bit:
Room to grow and progress! You will report to the Property Director and work closely with the Ops teams. The group have a schedule of new opening over the next 12 – 18 months, so you will have the chance to be involved in some really exciting projects.
Key responsibilities:
• Establish a preventive maintenance program and instruct/manage vendors/contractors to execute maintenance works, minor improvements and refurbishment
• Control repairs & maintenance budget while ensuring that all works are always completed at high standards
• Liaise with health & safety advisor to ensure consistent high standards and compliance to regulations
• Manage gas, electric and water service contracts, as well as cleaning and waste management
• Provide support in case of insurance claims
• Project management of fit-out, liaising with external PM, external architect, contractors, vendors
• Budget management
• Help develop a site opening check-list to ensure clarity across cross-functional teams and external vendors/partners
