The Role
We are seeking a Facilities General Manager to oversee the operational management of established social housing and education PPP projects. This role involves contract compliance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and performance oversight to ensure successful project delivery. You will be responsible for managing PFI operations, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and working closely with key stakeholders to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and contract performance.
- Act as primary stakeholder liaison, ensuring strong relationships.
- Oversee contract compliance, variations, and approvals.
- Implement performance monitoring frameworks for continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving disputes proactively.
- Lead asset management strategy and defect resolution.
- Provide insightful analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
Key Requirements
- Experience in facilities management or managing large, complex estates at a senior level
- Strong understanding of maintenance regimes and operational service delivery.
- Knowledge of contracts, including planning, payment mechanisms, and performance management.
- Commercial acumen, ensuring strong governance and operator performance.
- Proficient in spreadsheets and data analysis to support decision-making.
