Your Mission:
As our Shift Leader HV AP / HV SAP, your mission will be to ensure the seamless operation of critical electrical systems. You will oversee project works, monitor installations and removals, and provide expert guidance to the client. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Monitor project works to ensure compliance with health and safety policies and industry standards.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in relevant program and project management meetings.
- System Installation & Removal: Oversee system installations and removals, providing essential data and insights.
- Safe Work Practices: Enforce the use of safe work systems for all project works, ensuring safety at all times.
- Risk Management: Review Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMs) for optimal system performance.
- Client Consultation: Advise the client on critical decisions that could impact their operations.
- BAU Alignment: Ensure project activities and business-as-usual (BAU) operations integrate seamlessly.
- Reporting: Produce timely and relevant reports as required.
- Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate critical issues to the Project Integration Technical Manager.
- Shutdown Management: Assist in preparing and executing shutdowns for maximum operational efficiency.
- Adherence to Guidelines: Operate within established operational and management guidelines.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Health & Safety: Uphold health and safety policies and standards across all activities.
- Technical Proficiency: Apply advanced technical skills across various functional areas to optimize performance.
- Performance Optimization: Drive efficiency and excellence through effective management and leadership.
- A strong educational background.
- Recognized technical qualifications in electrical or related fields.
- Comprehensive health and safety training.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desired).
- HV Qualification (desired).
- Proven experience in managing critical environments and core life-saving infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience as an Authorised Person for Electrical Systems.
- In-depth knowledge and technical proficiency in building services, including UPS systems, transfer switches, PLC systems, critical cooling systems, water treatment, refrigeration systems, and HV/LV electrical infrastructure.
- Strong practical application of health and safety protocols in operational environments.
